中風分為缺血性（血管阻塞）與出血性（血管爆裂）。腦部細胞在缺氧狀態下每分鐘會死亡約 190 萬個，因此「時間就是大腦」。除了 FAST 口訣外，也要注意突然的視力模糊或平衡感喪失。

Strokes are categorized into ischemic (vessel blockage) and hemorrhagic (vessel rupture). Brain cells die at a rate of approximately 1.9 million per minute during oxygen deprivation; therefore, "Time is Brain." In addition to the FAST mnemonic, one should be alert to sudden blurred vision or loss of balance.

    • Face Drooping (面部歪斜)

    • Arm Weakness (手臂無力)

    • Speech Difficulty (言語不清)

    • Time to call emergency services (立即求醫)
